I love people who start things, pursue things. Create.
I believe in collaboration, in the sharing of ideas across varying interests, differing passions. I love people with ideas. I love people with beliefs, with hopes for themselves and others.
(I love people)
We learn from what is at first interior, the monologues dominating our separate understandings and independent strings of thought. But it is in collaboration, in the sharing of this discourse, that we develop; we change our perspective, we flourish, evolve and expand.
And so while a diary is written with private intent, a journal is a record of thoughts looking to be discussed, hoping to be applied.
This is a journal.
Sobremesa is an untranslatable Spanish term describing the time after lunch or dinner that you spend in discussion with others who sit around the table as well. While I love the particular conversation that builds from the encouragement of food, I’m seeking out the other moments from which inspiration comes and hoping to see what it creates.
I'm always looking for new people to speak with and feature here. If you, or if anyone you know, would like to participate, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
